  5. What is VB ADD FILE
  6. -------------------

  8.    For lack of a better name, VB ADD FILE is just that.  It allows
  9. you to easily Multi-select a bunch of files to add to your VB Projects.
  10. It's designed to let you search out a bunch of, say, VBX's and click
  11. on a list of them and then just click the add button and they're in your
  12. VB Project!  It also supports the ability to read the File Descriptions
  13. imbeaded into most VBX files and DLL's so that you can tell what CHSEUD1.VBX
  14. really is!

  20.    I don't think this is a very difficult program to understand
  21. so I'm not going into a lot of detail; that's why there's no Windows
  22. Help File.  Future versions of this program may be even more feature
  23. packed and will then probably have a help file.  But until then, I
  24. think you can figure it out.

  27. How to get started
  28. ------------------

  30.    Launch the ADDFILE.EXE program and also launch the VB.EXE; otherwise
  31. this program is essentially useless (not really, but, that's why I wrote
  32. this).  Now that the program is running, you can start using it by clicking
  33. on the SEEK... button.  A dialog will appear.  You can then select where you
  34. want to search for files.  When you're done selecting press the SEARCH button.
  35. The ADD FILE Main screen reappears and a list of files is added.  You should
  36. now see that the ADD and DESCRIBE buttons are available.  If you're ready to
  37. add files, click some in the list, if you are not ready and want to get more
  38. information, click the describe.  REMEMBER: Describe can only read information
  39. from DLL, VBX, and EXE type files.

  41.    Click the ADD Button!  You can see the files get added to your project.
  42. If this doesn't happen, then there is one of two things wrong. 1. You don't 
  43. have VB open for design, or 2. VB ADD FILE is broken!  If ADD FILE is broken,
  44. please contact me via the information descibed in the README.TXT file.

  46.    That's It!  That's what it does, and I think you'll like this a lot more
  47. than going in and out of the ADD FILE menu option.
